That truth is that quite a few clods in congress have worked to end oil production in the US. Their party mentors win academy awards for promoting it's demise. Now they feel like they have a candidate they can take to the bank.

What they are proving is that if you work hard and long enough at it, you can cripple US industries and stifle new business.
