Let�s see, If the ESD micromanages the fire departments, the Smith County Commissioners micromanage the ESD, The state legislators micromanage the Commissioners court, The US Congress micromanages the Texas State legislator, and the President micromanages the US congress what do you get?

Now how much does that cost?

Taxpayers �the members of the department� manage the Fire Departments and the ESD represents the taxpayers so get over your control issues. If you have concerns go to your local Fire Department or to The ESD and make yourself heard.

Waiting for elected politicians to take care of it for you invites a monarchy. We all need to grow a spine and let government know who empowers them.
