I'm glad to hear you are reading the bill. Does anything really scare you more than the current state of affairs? Isn't it scary that the IRS can audit individuals? Isn't it scary that the government knows how much income you earn? Isn't it scary that the current tax code has an order of magnitude more points of collection than the FairTax? Isn't it scary that long-term capital gains are taxed at a much lower rate than earned income? Isn't it scary that there is an hidden embedded tax in the price of all goods and services, and that people below the poverty line pay this tax as well as payroll taxes? Doesn't any of that scare you?
