I never said this town was "friendly" Carla. Tyler is whatever you decide to make out of it. That goes for any town in America.

My point was that how dare this "stranger" come into town for a meal and place a blank statement on the entire area.

It is absolutely shameful that he criticizes us without living in this area and really knowing the people.

As a Reverend you would think that he would be more understanding but nope - he decided to judge, judge, judge.

I say don't let the door hit you on the way out.......

He was here for a brief time, I have been here in the area for nearly 20 yrs. I have lived in Chandler and Troup before moving to a Tyler address. Try as I might, I can not find the "friendlyness" in this town. If you don't come from money or have a "old" name, regardless of how long you live here, people will treat you as an outsider.
