I will be the first to agree that many times these parking spaces are being used by someone who doesn't deserve them. As for the docters signing these forms, there is a difference in the placards, and not all qualifing disabilities (unless it has changed since I got mine several years ago) have to depend on the aide of walkers/wheelchairs/others. But on the other had, coming from someone who DOES have a blue placard. I do not appreciate someone questioning me about my disabilities. Just because you don't SEE my problems don't assume I don't deserve to park there. That is between my docter (who btw has recieved several thousands of $ for my care) and myself. I don't deserve to be harrassed by some do-gooder in a parking lot.

On one specific occasion, I was at Hobby Lobby, parking in a marked spot. I did not use the one closiest to the door, that was left for the lady behind me who had her elderly mother with her. I was being considerate of someone else, and what did it get me? The lady that did park in the closier spot preceeded to chew me out and assume I was there illegally. "I didn't look handicapped"

For those of you who THINK people like me don't look handicapped, until you have walked in my shoes, paid my medical bills, and spent the tear-filled sleepless nights from the pain, DO NOT JUDGE ME! I would love to be able to go with my friends to the mall to shop, but since they don't have buggies to lean on or electric carts, I can't.
