Oil ties and politicans go hand in hand. Obama is supported by George Soros, one of Halliburtons largest shareholders. The Clintons owned XOM stock until recently. Of course, the current duo in the Whitehouse are huge "oil men". If there is money to be made, the folks in D.C. will have their hands in it somehow.
