You got it man. My mom is an officer at the Elton, Louisiana Police Department and has to stay there per orders from the governor. The storm is heading right for her. I wish I was welcoming her to Tyler. Good news though. My little brother just arrived in Germany, and after 2 long years, he is officially out of Iraq. He still has two more years in the Army though so I'm not holding my breath.
I agree with your idea. I think both candidates would better serve the area by supporting them from a distance during the storm and supporting them with cash and volunteer clean-up crews after the storm. It is good however, to see that the Democrats and Republicans from the presidency down to the mayors learned from the on-the-job training they received from Hurricane Katrina.
