The 6+% increase is overall taxable value. The 4 and 4.4% increases are just the "average" price of a home. This statistic tells me that they increased values more somewhere else, and/or there was new construction.

I swear if my property and home value continue to increase at this rate, I should be living in Turtle Creek in Dallas.

It is out of control.
