As I have been saying for years, Tyler made an illegal move and now they got busted. Their LEGAL ETJ is supposed to only be 3.5 miles. Someone or some city is going to have to sue them to get this worked out in court. If I had the money to do it I would just because I am sick and tired of watching them inch out further and further with deals that take only strips of land they don't have to service just to push out their ETJ. This is being done to block any other city from growing economicly. Tyler is like the big fat dog guarding the dinner plate so the smaller dogs can't get a bite.
