This is a state of Texas issue so where does Obama come into this Heidi? There is no large problem of illegal aliens voting here in Smith county or Texas as a whole. What you have is the Republicsn party trying to lessen the number of Democrates at the ballot box, by making it difficult for elderly and minorities to maintain their right to vote. This issue of illegal aliens voting is bogus. Its also very insulting to the thousands of Election Judges across this state who are on hand and insure our elections are held fairly and that illegals don't vote. Our County Voter Registrar's do a great job of checking all applications for fraud. What is known is the people who will be affected by this issue usualy vote for Democratic candidates. The driving issue here is not the illegals its the fact that the Texas Legislatures only two seats away from being back in Democrat control (the real reason for the distraction issue of the illegals).
