The only reason it would never happen Kevin is "Cause we ain't never done it that way before".
Freshmen and Sophomores as a majority don't drive. There number of kids driving from Noonday to JT would be minimal. Also, freshmen and sophomores don't play varsity football for the most part. Most of them are on 9th or JV teams. If a player had exceptional ability and could start on the varsity team, I'm certain that transportation to the other practice site could be arranged.
From an educational standpoint, and from a financial standpoint, this concept makes too much sense. This does not dumb-down anyone. It allows all students to have full access to the academic opportunities of a large 5A school--and it helps to eliminate the cultural separation that has burdened this great community for many years.

Since I am being scolded for my opinion, let me present some facts for your consideration (not that most of you will pay any attention to factual evidence): TAKS test scores for 2007. Percent of students meeting standard: Reading; REL 94, JT 85. Math; REL 85 JT 78. Social Studies; REL 96, JT 90. Science; REL 82, JT 69. Percent of students earning commended performance: Reading; REL 24, JT 11. Math; REL 21, JT 13. Social Studies; REL 42, JT 27. Science; REL 14, JT 6.
Just the facts.
