An interesting story. The city should be commended for trying to assist the group to locate an appropriate meeting location. Shame that the day care owner failed to conduct a thorough job of investigating the neighborhood before opening, which might have prevented this unfortunate chain of events. Not very good business practice, and makes one wonder how effective her business and managerial skills may be. Even more shame that the day care owner acted upon unfounded and irrational fears in forcing the zoning board to block the requested zoning change. Let's us hope that the day care's own zoning is in order.
