RAVES, RANTS & ROSES

The Tyler Morning Telegraph offers Raves, Rants & Roses as a weekly forum for readers to express quick opinions on a variety of issues.

Items that would ideally be included as a RAVE would be compliments to educators, police, clergy and others who deserve credit for outstanding work in their professions.

A RANT could be some disagreement with public servants, education issues or taxes.

Roses are tributes to individuals or groups who have provided good deeds above and beyond routine services, such as a courteous letter carrier or store clerk.

The deadline for submitting Raves, Rants & Roses items is 5 p.m. Friday for Tuesday's publication.
