A second suspect believed to have been involved in a shooting that claimed a man’s life last year has been arrested.

John Moore, Smith County Sheriff’s Office spokesman, said Horacio Gurrusquieta, 33, turned himself in to authorities Wednesday in Dallas County for the death of Jose Alfredo Sanchez.

Horacio Gurrusquieta is the nephew of Natalio Gurrusquieta, who was arrested on March 18 in Tyler on the same charge for the same crime.

Moore said Horacio Gurrusquieta will be transported to the Smith County Jail.
