Mineola man dies in one-car wreck
A Mineola man died Thursday morning in a one-vehicle crash.
The wreck happened on the 700 block of East McDonald Street just before 11 a.m., according to a news release from the Mineola Police Department.
A 2003 four-door Lexus driven by 54-year-old Jay Forrest Corley was found south of the road on its side, the release states.
Corley died at the scene. An investigation is ongoing.
Police Chief Chuck Bittner declined to release any details on how the crash may have occurred.
