Second man arrested in Smith County murder
A second suspect believed to have been involved in a shooting that claimed a man’s life last year has been arrested.
Smith County Sheriff’s Public Information Officer John Moore said Horacio Gurrusquieta, 33, turned himself in to authorities Wednesday in Dallas County for the death of Jose Alfredo Sanchez.
Horacio Gurrusquieta is the nephew of Natalio Gurrusquieta, who was arrested on March 18 in Tyler on the same charge for the same crime.
Smith County Sheriff's Office officials said that Horacio Gurrusquieta will be transported to the Smith County Jail.
Moore said Gurrusquieta will be transported back to the Smith County Jail.
