Tours will begin at 9:30 a.m., 10:15 a.m., 11 a.m., 1:15 p.m., 2 p.m., 2:45 p.m., 3:30 p.m. and 4:15 p.m.
Characters portrayed will include Captain William Kimbro, a veteran of the Battle of San Jacinto; Louisiana “Aunt Bee” Small, who nursed Civil War soldiers from Granbury’s Brigade; Alexander Joost who owned the first store on Courthouse Square; Dr. Henry H. Link, a physician who began his practice in Palestine in 1851; and Mary Micheaux Swanson, member of one of the city’s founding families.
Tickets are $15 per person and are available at Palestine Public Library.
