Smashed windows and missing electronics are all police had to go on Monday after an all-night string of burglaries at several retailers.

Tyler police continued their investigation into four commercial burglaries that began late Sunday and continued until 3 a.m. Monday.

Don Martin, police spokesman, said the first burglary was at Cruisers Audio, 2425 WSW Loop 323 at 10:26 p.m.

Martin said the unknown burglars broke a window to gain access, and the alarm sounding may have scared them before they were able to take any merchandise.

Just more than an hour later at 12:13 a.m. the alarm sounded at Cole Cellular, 6724 S. Broadway Ave., where the suspects gained entry through a broken window and took several cellphones and a computer.

Five minutes after police responded to that location the alarm sounded at the Sprint Store, 7925 S. Broadway Ave., where a window was smashed, but nothing was taken.

Martin said about 3 a.m., an alarm sounded at Jack's Stereo, 3813 WSW Loop 323, where again entry was made through a broken glass door.

Martin said several items were taken from Jack's.

"We don't have any video yet but are working on it. We do not have any suspect descriptions at this time," he said.

Anyone with information about the burglaries is asked to contact the Tyler Police Department at 903-531-1000 or the Tyler/Smith County Crimestoppers at 903-597-2833.
