Police standoff ends peacefully in Tyler
Tyler police and SWAT teams peacefully left the scene of a standoff with a reportedly suicidal person at Darrell Lane in a subdivision near Loop 323 and Old Jacksonville Highway Friday morning.
Tyler Assistant Police Chief Diannia Jackson said police received a call that a person inside the home might be suicidal. Police negotiated for the person to come out of the home. Negotiations apparently were successful in resolving the situation, she said.
