Aggie mom group slates next meeting
The Tyler A&M Mothers’ Club will have its next meeting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Pollard United Methodist Church, 3030 Copeland Road.
The club will review nominations and vote for the 2013-14 officers.
Club members also will vote for six organizations they want to financially support. The organization has allocated $300 to support six local organizations.
Club members are encouraged to provide input about specific organizations they would like to see considered.
The meeting also will include time to work on items to be sold at the Boutique during Texas A&M University’s Parent’s Weekend April 12-14 in College Station. The boutique serves as the club’s main fundraiser for Aggie scholarships.
The Tyler A&M Mothers’ Club 2013 college scholarship applications will be made available at the meeting as well. These scholarships are for students attending Texas A&M University in College Station.
