Tyler ISD names top teachers of 2013

Tyler ISD announced the 2013 Campus Teachers of the Year. The Teacher of the Year program acknowledges the dedication and success of the district's teachers and recognizes them for their contributions to Tyler's children, according to a TISD news release.
The district will recognize each campus teacher of the year at the annual Teacher of the Year Banquet on May 14 at the Harvey Convention Center.
During the banquet, the district will name an Elementary Teacher of the Year and a Secondary Teacher of the Year, who will then be eligible for regional honors.
