TISD proposes plan to open new high school
Tyler ISD is proposing to open the A.T. Stewart Academy of Excellence, to serve as a high school that would offer a non-traditional education system.
If the bond election passes in May, the district's plan would replace the A.T. Stewart Middle School.
The Stewart Middle School students likely would go to new school, to be built in southwest Tyler or Boulter Middle School.
