BREAKING NEWS: Officials confirm one woman dead in Tyler wreck
A woman was confirmed dead at the intersection of Loop 323 and Old Jacksonville Highway Wednesday night. Lt. Rusty Jacks of the Tyler Police Department said the crash happened about 9 p.m.
According to reports from officials on the scene, one vehicle crashed into a light pole in front of a local business. Police on the scene said they are not releasing the identity of the victim until family members can be notified. Lt. Jacks said he believes this car to be linked to a hit and run from earlier in the day.
