WOMEN VOTERS
The Tyler/Smith County League of Women Voters will continue its series of Great Decision discussions, an annual series of events held each Wednesday at noon at the Tyler Public Library, through March 6. The event is co-sponsored by the Tyler Public Library and the American Association of University Women.
On Wednesday, University of Texas at Tyler professor Marcus Stadelmann will discuss how the global recession contributed to the development of the euro crisis, the health of the common currency and how European Union leaders can prevent its collapse.

WE THE PEOPLE
Grassroots America — We the People will meet at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Lakeview Church of the Nazarene, 10818 University Blvd. in Tyler.
Executive Director JoAnn Fleming will discuss “Making Texas Strong: State Legislative Priorities for the 83rd Session and Beyond.”
Lunches will be available for purchase or attendees may bring their own. The public is welcome.
