Fruit and Vegetable Conference set for Tuesday

The annual East Texas Commercial Fruit and Vegetable Conference is Tuesday at the Tyler Rose Garden Center.
Topics include “Ag Exemption 101,” “High Tunnels for Vegetable and Strawberry Production,” “Managing Weeds and the Orchard Floor,” “Water Requirements for Fruits/Vegetables,” “Sustainable vs. Organic Production,” “Developing a Sustainable Vegetable Garden Plan,” “Managing Texas’ Most Common Fruit Problems,” “Honey for Home and Profit” and “Do’s and Don’ts in a Raised Bed Garden.” Cost for the day is $30 and includes lunch.
Registration starts at 8 a.m. Tuesday.
