Building permit filed for design company

Gregg Eppler is constructing a new 3,850-square-foot building for Impressive Image Works at 2910 Teague St. for $129,745. Metal Buildings by McM, Inc. is the contractor.
Weingarten Realty, of Houston, is remodeling a 3,920-square-foot restaurant space for The Rack Hamburger Grill in the Tyler Shopping Center, at 2127 S. Broadway Ave., for $30,000. TJ Construction, of Troup is the contractor.
Julie Wood, of Arp, is remodeling a 2004-square-foot space at 1815 S. Broadway Ave. for Peek-a-Bootique, an infant, toddler and maternity boutique and ultrasound office. Work includes paint, repair sheetrock and lay laminate floors for $5,000. Ms. Wood also filed an application for certificate of occupancy for the building.
Wal-Mart filed building permits to add multi-deck beer coolers into the sales floors of its three Tyler stores, at 5050 Troup Highway, 6801 S. Broadway Ave. and 3820 Texas Highway 64 W. Wal-Mart R.E. Business Trust, of Bentonville, Ark., is the owner. The projects each cost $48,800 and JRJ Construction Inc. is listed as the contractor for the Texas Highway 64 project.
JC Penney filed permits for two remodeling projects at its store at 4401 S. Broadway Ave. Work includes new light fixtures, paint and small display wall in a 1,782-square-foot space of the store for $9,500; and a partial finish and fixture upgrade of 4,500 square feet for $25,000. Maxwell Construction, of Englewood, Colo., is the contractor.
Burns Commercial Properties is remodeling the 2,200-square-foot U.S. Attorney's Office, at 110 N. College Ave., Ste. 700, for $28,000. Work includes demolishing two walls, building a conference room and storage room and increasing the side of the workroom. Caliber Associates, of Mineola, is the contractor.
Trinity Mother Frances Hospitals & Clinics is widening the driveway approach and tying it into the parking lot for the Louis & Peaches Owen Heart Hospital, at 619 S. Fleishel Ave. L&L Asphalt Corp is the contractor for the $34,000 project.
