Juanita Williams
Services for Juanita Marie Williams, 82, of The Woodlands, formerly of Tyler, will be on Friday, Feb. 22, 2013, at 10 a.m. at Green Acres Baptist Church Chapel with Dr. Brent Shook, Wayne C. Schilleci Sr. and Zachary A. Schilleci officiating.
A private burial will be in Flint Cemetery under direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home.
Mrs. Williams passed away Feb. 19, 2013, in The Woodlands. She was born Oct. 29, 1930, in Mineola to Samuel Earl and Zora Beatie Pierce Whitaker.
Juanita graduated from Tyler High School class of 1948. She was a former member of Green Acres Baptist Church and a current member of First Baptist Church The Woodlands. Juanita was a fabulous cook, a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Earl Whitaker. Juanita is survived by her loving family including her husband of 63 1/2 years, Harry Williams of The Woodlands, formerly of Tyler; son, Dan E. Williams and wife Stephanie of Franklin, Tenn.; and daughter, Debbie Schilleci and husband Wayne of The Woodlands. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Dan Williams II, Zachary A. Schilleci, Wayne C. Schilleci Jr., Lance Dammeyer, Harrison A. Shook and Cole Beck Williams.
Honorary pallbearers will be David Williams, Tommy Graham, J.C. Thomas and Bill Shattuck.
Visitation is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013, at Stewart Family Funeral Home, 7525 Old Jacksonville Highway, in Tyler.
If desired, memorials may be made to The Hospice of East Texas Foundation, 4111 University Blvd., Tyler, 75701.
