Traffic Flow, February 15
The flap over traffic flows at Loop 323 and Donnybrook Lane (and other locations) highlights the compelling urge for convenience and the tendency to avoid thinking outside the box.
People need to check alternate and flexible routes, or even alter their time of arrival. Staggering school openings and dismissal schedules is a viable option worthy of consideration (versus a rush to spend money on new lights, roads). Implementation of the latter suggestion would certainly raise the hue and cry to a new, higher level.
Waiting through two or three stoplight cycles to turn left should ring a bell and cause you to consider an alternate route or another time (and maybe adjust your patience level a notch).
