P.M. UPDATE: Warrant roundups; Tyler Police Department banquet; Star Wars

Smith County is joining forces with 300 other entities statewide to participate in one of the largest joint warrant roundups in the state. The county says that on March 2, officers will start visiting homes and places of works to arrest anyone who hasn't settled their debt with Smith County for outstanding court costs and fines. To see if you have unpaid court costs or fines, visit www.smith-county.com or call the Smith County Collections department at 903-590-4620. Many other East Texas entities are also participating in the warrant round up, so be sure to check on any unpaid fines you might have.

Ahead for this weekend's newspapers are some interesting stories you will want to check out … In Saturday's paper, we'll have the big winners from this year's Tyler Police Department banquet, which is set for tonight. And Sunday be sure to check out Dayna Worchel's article on presidents who have visited Tyler… Here's Dayna to tell you a little more about her story …

While the Internet is all abuzz with the recent news writer/director J.J. Abrams will direct the next "Star Wars" movie, but according to the website Latino-Review a fan favorite, Han Solo, will return in the new films and he will be played by ... Harrison Ford. We don't know how big Han Solo's role will be in the new films, but, hey ... Harrison Ford is coming back. You're welcome, nerds.

Thanks for watching and have a great weekend.
