Police: Construction slows traffic near Broadway, Grande
The Tyler Police Department is advising motorists to avoid the area around South Broadway Avenue and Grande Boulevard.
Officials in the department's dispatch said there is construction in the area that is slowing traffic.
The area is severely congested and a southbound Broadway lane is closed, according to a text notification sent out by the department.
