4 Tyler ISD seniors receive college money from Samsung

Four Tyler ISD graduating seniors received a total of $30,000 in scholarships from Samsung.
Four Tyler ISD graduating seniors received a total of $30,000 in scholarships from Samsung.
The scholarship recipients from John Tyler and Robert E. Lee high schools were honored Tuesday.
Recipients were: Elliott Hart from John Tyler, and Gene Lewis, Jay Roberson and Kara Wang from Lee.

Wang received the $10,000 Samsung Scholarship; Lewis received a $10,000 Samsung Math, Science and Technology Scholarship; and Hart and Roberson received $5,000 Samsung Football Scholarships.
The Samsung scholarships were offered through East Texas Communities Foundation.
