UT Tyler students can apply for Washington, D.C. internships
The University of Texas at Tyler is accepting student applications for Washington, D.C., internships through the Bill Archer Fellowship Program.

The program, established by the UT System and Archer, a former U.S. representative, provides the opportunity for students to intern full-time, take one weekend class and two evening classes taught by UT professors, according to the news release.

Students live near Capitol Hill and the Supreme Court with interns from other UT System schools.

Applicants must be university juniors or seniors with 24 completed hours at UT Tyler, have an overall 3.0 grade point average, complete basic government requirements and hold work or internship experience, according to the news release.

Students interested in applying are strongly encouraged to meet with Dr. Courtney Cullison, the program’s campus director, before the Feb. 22 application deadline.

For more information, contact Cullison at 903-566-7163 or ccullison@uttyler.edu or visit www.archercenter.org.
