Salvation Army coordinator to be on weekly show

Chantel Millin, community and corporate relations coordinator for The Salvation Army Tyler, will be featured on this week’s Tyler Chamber Radio.

The 10th Annual Chili Bowl and Auction by The Salvation Army of Tyler Women’s Auxiliary will be 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Harvey Convention Center.

Country-gospel artist Old Guys Rule will provide the entertainment and former Smith County Sheriff J.B. Smith will be the auctioneer.

The Women’s Auxiliary helps residents at The Salvation Army’s William Booth Garden Apartments for low-income seniors; facilitates the Angel Tree Christmas program; and organizes fall and spring fundraising sales. Last year’s Chili Bowl brought in more than $38,000.

Businesses on the 30-minute show include Jolie Smith, owner of Conquest Property Management; Lan­ce Browning, senior vice president for Income Solutions Wealth Management; and Kandi Hilliard, owner of Culinary Crossroads.

City of Tyler Main Street Director Beverly Abell also will be on the radio show.
