Two Quilters Guild items at Tyler library
Quilters Guild of East Texas has two quilts on display in the atrium and second-floor display case in Tyler Public Library, member Jan Glover said.
The quilts will remain on view through March.
The displays emphasize the impact that color makes in quilts, she said.
“Two of the purposes of the Quilters Guild of East Texas are to preserve the heritage of quilting and to be a source of information and inspiration,” she said. “We try to achieve these goals through our community service projects, lectures and displays of our quilts.”
The guild’s 32nd Tyler Quilt Show will take place March 22-23 at Harvey Convention Center.
