Cooler air coming through
Our days of more spring-like weather are numbered, as the general pattern across the United States is expected to transition to a more conducive one for cooler air to dive in our direction. In the meantime, look for cloud cover to increase, as south winds at the surface and southwest winds aloft bring more moisture into the area at all levels. A strong storm system will approach the area today, and pass north of us early Sunday.

This will allow for a few Showers and Thunderstorms to affect the area beginning late this afternoon, but most especially late tonight, and during the first half of the day on Sunday. Some storms on Sunday morning will be on the strong side, with Wind and Hail being the main concern. Rainfall totals with the Sunday storms will average between three quarters to one inch. Most of the rain should move East of the area by Sunday afternoon - leaving the door open for some late day sunshine. Temperatures will cool heading into Monday, with Lows back into the middle 40's. Highs will not be quite as affected, topping-out in the Mid to Upper 60's on Monday. This will all be followed up by another system on Tuesday that appears to have a bit cooler air with it.
