Tyler police investigate shots fired, damaged property
Staff Reports

Officers are looking for someone who allegedly fired shots in a north Tyler parking lot and damaged property.

Tyler police were called to a club at 1700 N. Palace St., at the intersection of West Vance Street about 1:12 a.m. Monday to investigate gunshots, according to a Tyler police news release.

Several people were seen leaving the parking lot when police arrived, but no one at the scene would tell officers what happened.

However, several casings were found at the scene, the release states.

A woman who contacted police said her back car window was struck by a bullet while she was parked at the club for several hours, according to police.

No one was injured, and the case remains under investigation.

Anyone with information on the people involved in the crime is urged to contact the Tyler Police Department, at 903-531-1000, or Crimestoppers at 903-597-CUFF (903-597-2833).

Crimestoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest and charges filed in this case or any felony case.
