Bullard Education Foundation hosting annual 5K/Fun Run

The Bullard Education Foundation will host its third annual 5K/Fun Run fundraiser this spring, the foundation announced Monday.
The event, called, “Strides for Excellence,” is scheduled for April 20.
The event is for families as well as serious runners, according to a news release.
Proceeds will serve “to directly impact learning and benefit the students and staff in Bullard Independent School District,” the news release states.

Registration will take place from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. with the first events starting at 9 a.m. “Strides for Excellence” will feature a traditional 5K, along with a 1-mile walk/run. Several school and community organizations will be on-hand at the event.
Sponsorship opportunities are still available at varying levels of commitment.
