4.1 magnitude earthquake in East Texas
The United States Geological Survey (http://usgs.gov) reports that a 4.1 magnitude earthquake occurred this early morning two miles from Timpson. It is the same location that has experienced several smaller magnitude earthquakes in recent months.
The epicenter was 25 miles north-northeast of Nacogdoches, 27 miles southeast of Henderson, and 42 miles southeast of Kilgore.
