Midday Update: Flat tires in Whitehouse, big MLB trade, new match for Tiger

Flat tires in Whitehouse
Many residents in and around the Whitehouse area awoke this morning to find someone had slashed the tires on their vehicles.
Whitehouse Police Chief Craig Shelton said he believes his department is working about 14 separate incidents and is afraid there could be many more that residents have not reported.
Shelton said he also is aware that Smith County Sheriff’s deputies are working several cases around the Lake Tyler Concession Road area.
Shelton said most vehicles had at least two tires flattened and because of the amount of money involved, the person or persons responsible will likely be facing felony criminal mischief charges.

Uptons reunited in Atlanta
Big trade brewing in major league baseball ... Justin Upton is joining his brother in Atlanta.
The Arizona Diamondbacks finally found a deal they liked for the right fielder, agreeing to send Upton and third baseman Chris Johnson to the Atlanta Braves, according to Braves beat writer Mark Bowman.
The Braves will send Martin Prado and pitcher Randall Delgado as part of a five-player package to Arizona in return.
B.J. Upton recently agreed to a five-year, $75.25 million free-agent contract with the Braves, and Atlanta is relatively close to the family’s home in Virginia.

Finally, Has Tiger Woods finally found his match?
The golf star is dating Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn, according to reports.
The pair has been an item since November, and they recently went on a romantic trip together to Antigua.
A source told Star magazine the pair was getting serious, even though they don’t get to spend that much time together.
Woods was previously married to Elin Nordegren, but back in 2009 he was exposed for his serial cheating.
Nordegren, 33, is the mother of his children and won a $110 million settlement when they divorced in 2010.
