Flint-Gresham VFD hosting training course

The Flint-Gresham Volunteer Fire Department is hosting a Basic Wildland Firefighter training course in February.
The courses will be offered on four dates -- Feb. 2 and 3, and Feb. 16 and 17. Attendees must attend all four dates to receive credit for the course, which will cover I-100, L-180, S-130, and S-190. It will be taught by the Texas Forest Service.
Students that complete the course will be eligible for both SFFMA Wildland Firefighter and/or TCFP Basic Wildland Firefighter certifications.
Tuition will be $250 and is TFS HB 2604 grant eligible.
