Tyler ISD board OKs 2 ½-year contract for Mooring as superintendent
The Tyler ISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved this evening a two-and-a-half year contract for Gary Mooring to serve as superintendent.
Mooring was named as the lone finalist for the position in December.
Mooring has served as the interim superintendent since August, when former Superintendent Dr. Randy Reid left for Keller ISD.
