The Tyler Police are looking for information on a person who stole a man's car and torched it in a car dealership's parking lot Sunday evening. Sgt. Adam Tarrant said a 1999 Chevy Suburban was reported stolen from the Exxon gas station on S. Vine Ave. Tarrant said a young man left his keys in the seat of the car while inside the gas station and when he returned the vehicle was gone. At 8:42 p.m., the Tyler Fire Department was called to a vehicle fire at Tyler Ford, at the intersection of Walton Road and South-Southwest Loop 323. The vehicle turned out to be the same one that was reported stolen from the gas station. There are no suspects at this time, but investigators are hopeful there were surveillance cameras at the gas station.
