Bishop Strickland guest speaker at South Tyler Rotary
Bishop Joseph E. Strickland will be the guest speaker at a luncheon meeting of South Tyler Rotary at noon Monday at First Christian Church, 4202 S. Broadway Ave.
The Rev. Strickland was appointed Bishop by Pope Benedict XVI last year and received his Episcopal Ordination and installation in Tyler in November.
“Father Joe is a longtime member of the South Tyler Rotary,” Club President Stephen Horlander said. “We heartily congratulate him and are delighted that he has agreed to share with the club his vision of this exciting new role.”
The cost of the lunch is $10.
Rotary is an organization of business and professional leaders.
