Wright to resign council seat; taking post with Sen. Ted Cruz
Tyler City Councilman Jason Wright, who represents District 6, has resigned his position with the Tyler city council to join the staff of newly-elected U.S. Senator Ted Cruz.
Wright will serve as the East Texas Regional Director, helping constituents with their concerns about issues, and providing them with a way to let their concerns be known to Cruz.
