Veterans and Community Roundtable co-chair to be featured on weekly show

Retired Army Maj. Gen. John Furlow, and co-chair of the Tyler Veterans and Community Roundtable, will be featured on this week’s Tyler Chamber Radio show.
The Tyler Veterans and Community Roundtable received the “Sea of Goodwill Award” from Homeward Deployed, a nonprofit organization that supports the successful transition of post-9/11 military veterans so they can thrive on Main Street.
The city of Tyler was recognized as No. 1 in America for cities its size. Some of the issues that need to be addressed include employment, education, housing and medical and mental health issues.
