Art classes to be held at Palestine library
From Staff Reports

Artist Barbara Eaton will host a “Paint and Take” class at Palestine Public Library for adults on Jan. 31.

She will teach how to create art with acrylic paints in about two hours. Class participants will get to take their art work home.

This project is funded by the PEARL Project, which is sponsored by the University of North Texas. The grant helps fund programs for adults in rural communities.

There are two different times open for the class. The first will run from noon to 2 p.m., and the second class will be from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

The same painting will be created during both classes.

All materials will be provided and previous painting experience is not required.

The program will be free to the first 40 people who sign up. To register, call 903-729-4121 or go to www. youseemore.com/palestine.
