Tyler Parks and Rec’s annual dances to be held in February

The Tyler Parks and Recreation Department will host its annual Mother/Son and Daddy/Daughter dances in early February at Glass Recreation Center.
The fourth annual Mother/Son Dance will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Feb. 1 for boys ages 4 to 12. The seventh annual Daddy/Daughter Dance will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 2 for girls ages 4 to 8 and from 8 to 9:30 p.m. for girls ages 9 to 12.
There are 200 tickets available for each dance, and they will only be sold in advance at the Glass Recreation Center, 501 W. 32nd St. Tickets are $9 for each attendee.
This fun-filled evening features DJ music, dancing and refreshments. To help commemorate this special event, professional photography packages will be available for purchase. Attire for the events is semi-formal.
