Energy company building $3.6M-plus control room, offices

Delek Refining Ltd is building a new central control room and offices for more than $3.6 million. Jacobe Brothers Construction is the contractor for the 11,289-square-foot project at 1902 E. Commerce St., Gate 7A.

ETMC is removing old MRI equipment and remodeling a room to receive new equipment at 1000 S. Beckham for $300,000. Robert Layton is listed as the owner and RPR Construction is the contractor.

Lin T. Barker is adding to the roof of the 12,000-square-foot Highland Centre at 4601 Troup Highway, Suite 4503 for $250,000.

Rouse Realty is building five stations for a barber shop at a 1,350-square-foot space at 1721 S. Broadway Ave., Suite B. JC Builder & Remodeling, of Nacogdoches, is the contractor for the $48,000 project.

Negem Investments LLC is remodeling a 4,431-square-foot office at 1828 ESE Loop 323 for $35,500. Work includes removing flooring, patching ceiling, removing walls, building a new demising wall and patch walls ready for paint. Caliber Associates, of Mineola, is the contractor.

Tyler Independent School District is installing a wall in the Robert E. Lee Culinary Arts Department at 411 ESE Loop 323 for $20,000. Garrett, of Whitehouse, is the contractor.

SBA Properties filed permits for wireless cell phone tower maintenance upgrades for Sprint at 311 E. Ninth St., 519 McCain St., 3705 Troup Highway and 3829 Highway 64 West. The projects each cost $20,000.

Kashi Inc. is building a cooler at 5006 Paluxy Drive for $13,500. Whole Enterprises is the contractor.

Cameron is trimming out sheetrock and flooring at a 1,057-square-foot office at 3801 Chandler Highway, Suite 200, for $5,700. Whole Enterprise is the contractor.

Frank Robbins is removing a partial glass store front and erecting a new wall for cooler installation at a convenience store at 2330 W. Grande Blvd. Ommy Enterprises is the contractor for the $3,000 project.

Jamal and Marilyn Moharer filed a permit for demolition work at an empty 2,000-square-foot commercial building at 412 N. College Ave. for $3,500.

Sign permits were filed for Taco Bell, 500 SSW Loop 323, $34,258, Stan Borel, Design Center Signs; Cowboys, 8380 Paluxy Drive, $4,000. Don Yaos, Sign Mart; Coaches Bar & Grill, 8374 Paluxy Drive, $3,000, Don Yaos, Sign Mart; Firestone, 128 WSW Loop 323, $2,000 Sign Maters of Tyler; Pratt Homes, 310 SSE Loop 323, $65,000, Leon’s Signs Inc.; Communications Corp. of America, 4300 Richmond Road, $6,600, Leon’s Signs; and Super Lube, 1823 SSE Loop 323, $9,000, Leon’s.

Cooper Sibley Construction, of Flint, is constructing a new 3,469-square-foot home at 7738 Cherryhill Drive for $248,000.

Scott Drewry, of Flint, is building a new pier and two-stall boathouse at 17267 Slack Road in Whitehouse for $48,000. Hanks Construction Co. LLC, of Whitehouse, is the contractor.

John Fabac is building a garage at 1305 Santa Fe Trail for $25,000.

Lowe’s filed permits to replace windows for Morgan McGee, 4600 Paluxy Drive, seven windows, $3,087; Charles Curtis, 1217 Balmoral Drive, eight windows, $2,685; and Mark Upson, 1800 Bent Tree Lane, three windows, $867.

Bagnall Construction is replacing eight windows at 2821 Oak Knob Drive for $3,618. Penn and Dianne Bagnall are the owners.
ARC filed a permit for a mobile home at 2525 Shiloh Road.

Grading permits were filed by Thomas and Judith Hayes for 15052 Eastside Road; and Robert Lee Jr. for 1824 and 1827 Nancy Drive.

Driveway permits were filed by Moises Tamayo, 942 Magnolia, Wesminister Co­nst.; Schmidt Concrete for 7302 Princedale and 411 Rudman; Horton Concrete, 7237 Princedale; and Gonzalez Concrete, 1341 Coldwater Cove.

There were also seven HVAC permits filed.
