Does anybody besides me find it strange that the current U.S. administration uses different standards for different Department of Defense personnel? Sgt. Robert Bales allegedly killed 16 Afghans and the Army is demanding the death penalty in a court martial. Maj. Nidal Hasan killed 13 people (on American soil no less) and the Army does not require him to shave his beard for his court martial. Is he a member of a protected group? In a nutshell, this is how we lose.
