BREAKING NEWS: Tyler police seek help in burglary investigation
STAFF REPORTS

The Tyler Police Department is asking the public for help identifying suspects who allegedly burglarized a home on Christmas Eve.

Officers responded to a residential burglary alarm about 11:15 a.m. at 6808 Hollytree Circle, according to a news release from the department.

While officers were investigating the scene, dispatch received a tip on the alleged vehicle used in the home invasion, the release states.

Officers located the alleged vehicle and attempted to stop the people inside. The suspects threw stolen jewelry from the vehicle and ran on foot.

The jewelry was recovered, but the department is looking for three unknown black males. According to the release no other descriptors of the men were available.

No one was injured during the incident, and officers did not observe any weapons, the release states.

Crimestoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest and charges filed against the suspects in this case or any felony case.
